Fitting Out Service

Ledgard Bridge offer a Fitting out Service to refit your existing boat or to complete a fully bespoke fit out on the shell of your choice.

We have the in house expertise to complete all elements of the fit out without resorting to numerous contractors often employed by many narrowboat fitters.

Working closely with you we can create the fit out of your dreams in materials of your choice.

Wherever possible if your choice of hull engine etc.meets the requirements we will endeavour to CE mark the finished boat and produce all the necessary documentation required by the Recreational Craft Directive.

Unlike many builders we are not scared of modern technology and have completed many cutting edge electrical, heating and air conditioning installations. We supply and install automatic satellite systems from premier names in the industry that can be combined with your choice of AV equipment that we can incorporate into the fit out.

We have experience of building “Eco friendly” boats including solar, wind and LPG generators. For those considering electric or hybrid drive we have experience of this and can work with you or your choice of supplier to achieve this.

We have a developed a range of security systems that can be incorporated into your fit out from simple household alarms to GSM paging systems that not only notify you of an activated alarm but can also track the boats precise location.
